Social media platforms have different ways to count post engagement and views and track overall post insights. Views on TikTok is a metric once a video is viewed for 5 seconds or above. It will be counted as a single view. If the same video plays in a loop or autoplay and is revisited by the same person, it will be counted as a new view.
Meanwhile, TikTok doesn’t count you watching your videos in views, though!
So if you are watching your own videos in a loop, your strategy to get more views on TikTok won’t work.
